Meet the founders
Mario sharpened his skills during his nearly twenty-year tenure at T-Croatian Telecom, where he played a vital role in shaping fixed IP/MPLS and, later Mobile Core strategy and services. He also actively participated in a variety of projects, including collaborations with Deutsche Telecom. He co-founded 5×9 Networks after working at Infobip, Croatia’s first unicorn, for a year and a half. He received his degree from the prestigious Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing in Zagreb, Croatia, which is regarded as a premier technological educational institution. Mario’s deep passion for problem-solving and pushing advancements, perfectly complements his role at 5×9 Networks.
Hrvoje has devoted almost two decades to T-Croatian Telecom, actively participating in numerous international Deutsche Telecom initiatives before co-founding 5×9 Networks. His extensive knowledge of numerous programming languages, databases, automation, and virtualization makes him an invaluable contributor to the success of our projects. He, like the other two founders, graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing in Zagreb. With his can-do attitude and steadfast belief that anything is possible, he is a great fit for our company’s chief architect and design role.
Branimir is a skilled engineer with who has made substantial contributions to the telecom industry. In addition to his exceptional technical abilities, he has also contributed to network technology standards that have been submitted to the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF). After graduating from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Branimir continued his education at the London School of Economics and Political Sciences. As one of the co-founders of 5×9 Networks, he is in charge of development strategy while also serving as the president of the Croatian Network Operator Group (NOG).
